Long day at work, really.

was in post natal wards for screening yesterday. came in to work around 7.20am after buying some kuih for breakfast. was too tired to wake up in the morning as i was still exhausted from 7am-10pm shift the day before.

whilst preparing to read cases in 5A in the doctors room, got called by a SN frm outside tht they're looking for paeds doctor. was informed by a SN all the way frm 11B tht they have a hypoglycaemic baby with a dxt of 0.7!!! WHAT?!
hospital phones not working tht morning, tht's why she had to come all the way down. fine. so i went upstairs with the super shitty lift. not wanting to delay the Tx, i asked the nurse to call her colleague up there to give a bolus of D10% first. got there, the D2 OL baby looked really lethargic. pity him. dxt went up yo 1.4 after the bolus. 2nd one also given. in the meantime, managed to call my on call MO to attend the case. the child seemed to be in resp distress as well, so we intubated him and quickly transported him to NICU.

phewh, all in all i came back down to 5A at around 9am. my MO is already there to do rounds but i havent read a single cases. lol. so we just ran through them together quickly. only 2 of us taking care of 4 postnatal wards today. so 5B is on me as well. in the middle of the rounds, my MO had to attend a call in LR. so in between, managed to read some cases frm 5B. rounds resumed around 10:30 and finished nearly 12 kot in 5B. then i continued my screening back in 5A. got branula insertions lah, bloods lah in between. then quickly went to 5B for screening, t'was around 2 something at that time. had to discharge baby really late that day. also, few more issues came up in 5A delaying my charting and discharge - vomiting baby lah, suctioning baby, a child needing eecho and pathological jaundice. phewh!! finished charintg everything around 7.15pm!! didnt even get to finish my breakfast kuih, what's more of having lunch!! had to come back at 9pm for on call! how's that?!

came for night call around 930pm feeling so exhausted already! wasnt that peaceful of a night either! managed to get a nap for abt 2hrs - OK la..had a last minute EMLSCS at 6.45am and reached home at 8am. long long day indeed.

so tired i dont even know how to describe it. babies are cute. i like it, but i'm mentally, physically and mentally drained.

Contemporary Abaya

Salam Lebaran everyone! Maaf zahir & batin :)

Di kesempatan ini, nak promote sikit a humble effort of mine and a friend. We're establishing a new label of abaya/jubah by the name of Ain Al-Sabaa which means; Treasure of the Eyes. The design is simple and most fabrics used are soft linen so it's very comfortable to wear casually or to work. The price for all of our abayas are considerably cheaper than what we already have in retail coz we're very new and at a 'trial' stage. So if you happen to read this, kindly help to promote the site as well =)

Here is the facebook page: Ain Al-Sabaa
Here is the website: http://ainalsabaa.wix.com/ainalsaba

Realiti semasa

Salam wbt

Had a chance to attend the 'Divine Speech' - 3 days Quranic Arabic course by Bayyinah Institute last Christmas weekend in London. The course was delivered by Nouman Ali Khan. He's super famous weh! Such a great opportunity giving that he rarely delivers his course outside US. And...we bumped into him when we were having dinner at this one Indian restaurant. When he and his company were about to leave, we (about 10 of us) 'shyly' asked if it's ok to take picture and he replied, "My wife won't be too happy" (something like that). And we were like..."Awww..so sweet.." LOL such a girl!^^

Br Nouman Ali
Sisters area
Ok back to business. =P The course was undeniably amazing of course. Giving the political scenarios back home(or in any other parts of the world), I find this one really fascinating. It's truly true, nothing but the truth! In the quran, Allah revealed unfair tactics that people usually use to win an argument:
1) Using threat of force in debate. Eg [21:68] - Instead of debating about the important issue i.e worshipping other than Allah, force of threat is used i.e the disbelievers put a threat to burn Abraham.
2) Character assassination. Eg [21:36]
And when those who disbelieve behold thee, they but choose thee out for mockery, (saying): Is this he who maketh mention of your gods? And they would deny all mention of the Beneficent (21:36)
[43:52] - Character assassination made by Pharaoh towards Musa AS.
3) Stirring up emotional crowd. Eg [20:63-64]
4) Making ones feel guilty and question their own modesty or loyalty. Eg [21:52,53]
5) Strategically distracting questions

It sounds very familiar indeed. These are what we will encounter everyday. No choice but to be wise. heh.

DISCLAIMER: i'm not an expert, this is purely one of the contents of the course. The course material can be found here.

yellow is the new black

Hari ini dalam sejarah: 090711! Wonder how will BERSIH 2.0 be depicted in Sejarah text books for the later generation. Anyhow, i jst cnt help but want to make a post bout bersih. Getting its updates online, watching youtube videos and photos from facebook left me in awe and heartbroken as well! Proud of the msian who're not selfish-to think tht they shud jst live quietly, feed and raise their family 'well'. Sad with how the police handled the crowd!

Below are some of the photos i lifted from bersih 2.0 official facebook page. enjoyed reading some of the funny comments as well!lol

the guy in yellow and those two in the uniform are probably of the same age. but whats different eh?

the guy is clearly armless, why need 4 cops handling him? n why need to be so brutal? jst cudnt understand!

even a kid was arrested!

those ppl understand the 1Malaysia concept more than the one who introduced it

thank you nenek!

forget bout the apco thing a bit. but the picture surely speaks for itself. whats different is jst tht on the right, they're frm different religion. but on the left, theyre both muslim!

last but not least, my favorite picture of all..jeng..jeng..jeng..

if only there's bumblebee.....hihi^^

i think if it's not because of the useless roadblock, water canon and tear gas, the rally would have been very peaceful!!

P.S; baru rally nak mintak fair election je pun..bukan mintak duit or nak topple mereka!pelik..pelik

judgemental

No matter how smart/clever we are, we still have got no right to judge others.

Each and every one of us is different. In our own way. We're different because of different background, n different upbringing...everything is different! Do not think that the world must revolve around us just because we get a good education and come from a decent background. Even if we think someone does not conform to our idea of being a 'good' person, we still have got no right to judge him/her.

Don't let all of our (few) good deeds all this while go to waste just because we cannot control the little evil in our head. Yes we may have the advantage of looking 'good' in the eyes of many. And some might have few shortcomings that are like 'taboo' in our little world. But NO ONE is superior than the other. Making a change is part of our responsibility but in the process, do not judge. When we judge others, it means we're looking down on them, showing arrogance and superiority. And it can translate in our attitude and conversation. Seriously, it's not a nice sight. Coz it hurts.

Just a thought..because we might not realize it.

Allah knows best.

in a relationship

..no that's not an announcement.

ok there is this situation;
There's two birdies who are so in love. They've been together for quite some time. And of course, the two want to take their relationship into the next level. But some people around them aren't too comfortable about that. Not their usual circle of friends, but some more important people. First, because they're not yet convinced if the guy is 'ready' enough to hold the responsibility in term of of course, mental preparation, money wise and few other stuffs. And secondly, coz the girl is yet to prove that she is the 'right' one in term of manners, upbringing etc..And yes despite that 'perkara baik tak perlu dihalang dan dilengahkan', (But you see, that's another story because marriage isn't jst about making wut's haram to us halal..jst read here) I can see the rationale behind the two reasons why some people around them aren't too keen in pursuing their good intention i.e. tying up the knot. Hence, they kind of ask me if i knw anyone more decent for the guy..(ewah2 banyak la, utk diri sendiri pn x lepas lg!-->jst my monolouge!haha) so i said, "owh mmg ramai ppl around me here yg mmg calon mithali tiptop!"

Tidakkah lelaki yg baik itu utk perempuan yg baik?..however it is understandable tht everybody's lacking, and so needs hand to lead for the better or at least walk together towards it.

But as a girl right, if we really is a good one, wud we be so daring as to do something as if we disregard the important ppl around the guy we're in the relationship with?is it really good enough if u can "control" the guy like he's all yours? And even if he is the boyfriend cum husband-soon-to-be-jst-dnt-knw-when, it jst doesn't make sense to me to act like his wife already..like the attitude, 'buka aurat dgn boyfren seniri je pun'..usually happens when a person is originally covered, but when skyping with the boyfren, then it's "ok" to not wearing hijab since "he's my boyfren n we'll get married soon anyway". or like, "i tak pegang lelaki lain, pegang boyfren sendiri je"....hurm, think again.

If that is so, wut is the purpose of wearing hijab in the everyday lives then?Where is the sincerity? One often says that "I sincerely love him (the boyfren)"..erm for the sake of whom? Then pray to Allah at night asking for His blessings in the relationship or semoga jodoh dgn si dia dipermudahkan. After throwing all those lines as stated above, wut do we expect, right? Note that the delicate sincerity is achieved if and only if the deeds are done for the sake of Allah and in accordance with His command and the sunnah. Fine, Allah is All Merciful and the All plentiful Giver, He may grant us our prayers but be cocky not, that's another test, coz He either grants us our prayer because we really deserve it or to see if we'd 'hanyut' dgn keindahan dan kenikmatan dunia. (Semoga dijauhkan)

We often think that Allah only tests us with hardships. And us who live happily with the ppl we love around us, getting good results every time, haha hihi huhu here and there all the time are examted from the test..please, that's not true. Allah also tests us with ease like good health, money and the things or persons we love. And unsurprisingly, we often fails in these tests because when Allah gives us these blessings we often turn them into false idol of the heart. So now do we worship the source of the blessings or the blessing itself? That blessings cn be taken away frm us ANYTIME either because we fail the test, or as another test. so what makes us so confident doing n saying stuffs as mentioned in the earlier paragraph? Think again. everybody makes mistake but let's reflect and repent. So let's be wise in handling our tests. wallahu 'alam.

[And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are signs for those who reflect.] (Ar-Rum 30:21)

Also check Al-Kahfi verse 46.

p.s; I use the word "we" and not "u" which means, I definitely dedicate this piece of reminder to my self as well as to whoever reading.

innocence

heh..still can't get over this skema + jujur conversation;

"ayah, ammar ade buat kesalahan" ----> a sentence tht made my mom anxious the whole night n cudn't sleep tight.
"kesalahan apenya?"
.

.
1 day later..

sensasi atau disensasikan?

[religious issue (???) ----> linguistic issue ----> races (or racist??) issue ] @ political agenda (??)

Let's ask our selves,

We're a Muslim first or a Malay first?
Beliefs come first or verbal utterance comes first?

..jawab dalam hati sudeyy. Yang penting, be a rational Muslim/Malay..not just another emotional Malay/Muslim.

"Ikutkan hati mati, ikutkan nafsu lesu, ikutkan Al-Quran menuju kejayaan"..random pulak eh!

..dan ikutkan malas, dissertation tak siap!hehehe(^_^)

never do that, chepal..

i think ive lost interest in blogging..actually there's alot tht i wanted to share about my stay in cambodia but typing nowadays has became so impossible for me..too lazy for tht u see. maybe later la when the weather is clear.(slang kedah sket)..tp yg ni i hav to write jugaklah..i jst cnt contain it anymore tht i wnt 2 shout it out loud if i may. saje nk over je..haha

k jst dnt let anything 2 disturb my train of thoughts for a while..

leaving, walk away n disappear, are these wut legs r for? if u have never been left behind, jst dnt do tht to others. please i beg u. someone u sincerely treasure for years suddenly being invisible and so out of reach..they r around but u cnt reach them..u jst cnt. they jst dnt wnt u anymore.
n u wonder..
"have i said/done something wrong or hurtful?"
"am i tht despicable to be forgotten jst like this?"
"am i tht insignificant?"
wut even more confusing..u jst dnt knw how u're feeling..angry?upset?betrayed?jst which one already?

well people do change. but walking away by leaving others in agony, is tht even comprehensible n sensible?or mayb it's too selfish to ask others to befriend/stay with u..or mayb it's jst one's greed to keep the old memories intact. who knows.

but still, whoever wasting their time reading this, pls..never do that. coz whichever way i see it, my conscience still think tht it jst isn't a right thing to do. no matter how much u've fallen out of love with the person or hate them..jst dnt abandon. there must be a better way. n i personally think, it's ok or less hurtful to let the time decides rather thn we ourselves purposely walk on tht person. eh chop, but isn't tht wut ppl do to avoid someone they dnt like i.e slowly distancing themselves frm the othr end n jst let the time passes in the hope tht they never were to cross each other's path ever again?i dnt knw coz i've never done tht to anyone b4.insyaAllah la.

Allah lebih mengetahui.
one last piece of advise:
treasure those who treasure u. do good to the person nxt to u..coz u never knw when they'll leave u. (haha.isnt tht a bit scary in some ways?) but if tht person really gonna leave u in an inappropriate way, will u regret being good to them then?i dnt think i wud. coz sincerity never change.

anggaplah cerita jiran sy ini stu pengajaran berguna. haha.
selamat menjalani ibadah puasa..change to the better, Ramadhan is the gateway.

btw chepal is korean..it means please (like an i-beg-u kind of please)hehehee..^^

bila berdoa..

"Ayah mana tak doakan anaknya.."

uhuhh..

and mak2 or ibu2 kita selalu bangun malam..buat semayang hajat utk kita kan..with or without us knowing it..but how often us, the anak2 nie bangun malam n berdoa for our parents?? sense of the give n take..cz they also need our prayers as much as we need theirs kan..hurmm..

same goes to our atok2 or nenek2..or family members lah kn, no matter how much care we show them, like buy this or tht for them..help them with this or that..always be there for them..don't u think it's rather not so worthy for them if we dnt pray for them? bukan ke tu semua very superficial..?coz the true way to show our unconditional love is not only frm wut we do on the outside which will be of no help for them in the hereafter. coz the one yg dpt pahala if we care for them now is none other than kita jugak. but how bout them? lagi2 la kalao yg dah pulang ke Rahmatullah..x kire how close we were with them mase di dunia nie..wut they need most is our prayer jugak in the end..apa guna mase hidupnya mcm belangkas, pemergiannya nanges bagai nk rak pulak tp once they're gone, wut's left is jst some traces of memories. the useless one kat 7 kaki dalam tu.

-just making sense of wut suddenly popped out of my mind-

n i really admire those who care bout others more than they care bout themselves..sifat empathy yg melimpah-ruah skali tuh..
tu the extent, bukn ank sendiri pn..bkn kawan2 mkn maggi semangkuk pn..tp tetap pray for their very best..bila bangun malam pn still pray for the very best for that othr persons.

tahap kemanisan iman tu is when we love our bros n sisters more than we love our own selves. kan? hope i get tht right..

bile kita leh jd camtu?

the little things

nothing in particular sbenarnyer..
jst something i came across with when i was at a Gaza talk organised by nottingham stop war.
actually i was kinda sleepy during the talk coz i ws quite exhausted..yela jst got bck frm Prague then membaking-baking tart 4 cardiff games so the talk pn became so-so jugakla..
but wut fascinates me was the fact tht all sorts of ppl came for the talk. yes all sorts. muslim, of course. n the non-muslims, from old grandma to children. from weird-looking chaps to the hey-im-cool youths. seriously i think it's amazing. we might bump into these kind of ppl who look rather 'weird' or 'scary' to be near with on the street. but hey these ppl might also be the one who have something in common with u..they also CARE. we tend to judge ppl by their looks. but deep in their heart, we dnt know a thing! they cud be much better than those who look proper on the outside but actually ignorance in the inside.
n i cn even hear the granma behind me struggling to breathe properly! n she still come..if we were at tht age, will we still CARE as much as she does??

Of winter, exams and dormancy....oh n othr stuff too

ok it was cold outside, so going out wud definitely be the least thing i'd do during these past few weeks. wut's more, i was in a midst of an exam. So definitely-lah the gluteal had been very loyal sticking hard to the study carrel kan. so there goes the period of quiescence. Yet, the poor little brain had to be overloaded with all sorts of jargons..working overtime, of cos it demands for an extra pay. How? So F.O.O.D must be the best reward, rite? And have to admit, 'involuntary' hyperphagic also do occur 'once in a while'.

lnactive, defined as less than 30 mins of moderate physical activity, equivalent to brisk walking each day. Well that's certainly not wut i'd say but it's well-stated in my precious lecture note k.
Low physical activity + increase food uptake = (do the math ur self!)

But....NOT ANYMORE please i beg my self. I felt so unhealthy, but just cudn't help it. Even though it was a focused(quite la kot), productive and worthwhile episode of dormancy insyaAllah, ive liberated from it. Hehe..Alhamdulillah the exam is over. Tawakal jer lah. So now need to get myself 'organised' back, owh n the room too..kalao kat msia mungkin lipas dah bole beranak-pinak bwh katil kot..haha n most importantly, let's mencergaskan diri!hehe!

Will begin the new sem class the very next monday tho :(

How fast time flies..im half way through my 2nd yr!nnti blajar makin susah...:(

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ob*a*ma or Mr O just got inaugurated as the 44th p last few days in a most expensive inaugural ceremony in the American history. Im not the right person to comment on this new presidency, but even with a little knowledge and little interest on politics i have, i kind of pity him for having to inherit a "mess". It's like inheriting a company that's almost bankrupt frm a brother (if he ever think kebabush is like a brother to him). Or a "grave" rather than a "gift" frm kebabush to him. Yela mana taknye, big recession, highly opposed foreign policy, un, guantanamo (Alhamdulillah he has called for the gitmo to be shut dwn within a yr kalao x silap) , Gaza/Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistn n etc..Hurm..whatever it is, with his popularity now and his campaign of "change" yg berapi-api tu, the world certainly is waiting and watching for his next move. Of course his top agenda wud be the economic crisis, but i dnt mind about their recession. Those corrupt systems need to learn a lesson anyway (Say rise the true Islamic banking!). But the world peace matters more to me now. And to most others too i believe. He did address the Muslim world in his inaugural speech by saying something like "We'll seek a way forward with the Muslims, base on mutual interest and respect" I knw Ham*as think he's jst another kebabush. And frankly speaking i really don't know if we shud take his word or not, but no harm in hoping n keep praying kan?

But i remember Khalid Meshaal once said in one of his speech, "the enemy won't help us, won't open the Rafah border for us, we have to do it ourselves, the ummah have to stand side by side with each othr and do not ally with the enemy." (Not exactly but something like that) So kalau lah, all the muslim countries can unite and stand side by side..i think we dnt even need to wait for Am*eric*a foreign policy to change or wut ever Mr O decision is. Semoga hati para pemimpin Islam kita lembut utk bersatu against all odds.

And to Gaza, congratulations on the victory! May heaven be the place for all the martyrs. Ameen.

Erm i think ive wrote too much dy. hehe so here's a few pics frm the rally lst wik.

Semashur dlm novel...hoho

Ever heard of a novel Dekat Di Hati?? I jst knew bout it too anyway..frm my fren. i hav no ties wutsoever with the author n i hav no intention to promote the novel as well..saje nk berbangge seketika coz the settings of this novel is my beloved boarding school...Sekolah Menengah Sains Hulu Selangor...SEMASHUR!!Weeee~~(harusla berbangge kan?)

Here's a snippet of it;

JAM 11.55 malam.

Ulasan;

Our pengetua Mr Paizin yg chumel even got a souvenir (or is it jst a copy of the novel??heh) from the author, Eyman Haikal!

thE ghoSt sTorY....

Anyone from boarding school must have been veryy familiar with ghost stories being passed on from one batch to another. From jst a ghost myth until the real encounter with the real thing, boarding school students sure know alot bout it. 5 yrs in boarding school, i did once see histeric person right in front of me. But Alhamdulillah mintak dijauhkan tuhan i never experienced seeing the real thing with my own naked eye. (Teringat the best thing watching Thai ghost story kat bilik tv when we got to jerit kuat2 beramai2 ngn peluk beramai2..lawak2..)

During my stay in London (few days back or was it yesterday?) we stayed in a hostel at Kensel Green area. And guess wut, our room was right next to this one huge christian cemetery! So on the Boxing Day eve (while the Mat Sallehs having their Christmas party downstairs), tah mcm mane someone brought up a story bout ghosts. So it brought back the "boarding school" memories..one by one stories were unveiled. 12 ppl in one room sharing the goosebumps..haha i tink most of the stories we heard on that nite was frm Temeng about Sains Dungun..frm a real story of a girl with Saka, a pontianak playing basketball in the middle of the late night, seeing a marching squad with no heads to a bunch of students with nothing better to do playing ghost prank on their seniors! As for my skul, some of the stories i remembered are the one when this one fella saw a "ghost" in the mirror aftr brushing teeth. And bout the tasik thing, also bout the "agreement" our ustaz have with the "thing". We also talked bout the "tindih" cases happened back in KMB where Sarah n Azie themselves have experienced.

When it's late, we decided to call it quits..everyone's got tired already..(sbenanye takot gile) n also we needed to get ready for boxing day the next day! Before going to bed, kena la buat "rombongan" ke toilet since sume dah takot...n nisya whose bed was right nxt to the window trus x nk tido on hers so she shared with azie.

The next day, we jst realized that last night was Khamis malam Jumaat...n Azie said she heard something unpleasant while sleeping(like footsteps frm outside our room)..Uuuuuu...

Wallahua'alam..

yes it's autumn in my heart...:P

Kehkehkeh..pls don't be affected much by the misleading title..it jst suddenly popped outta my mind..n i luv the pic up there. taken when i was on my way to netball practise on sat in highfield. felt so gud to walk dwn the lane on that afternoon. the falling leaves seemed soo beautiful. Luckily there are still some leftover greeny leavy to freshen me up. And the weather was just nice for an outdoor activity esp strolling along some lakesides or something.

But not anymore i think..it's a bit colder now..but the leaves keep falling and a lot more trees are now "naked". The weather gets more n more depressing each day towards the winter. God i dnt like winter. People wrapped in black n grey..From top to toes! Colourful n flowery outfit will just look weird and doesn't seem to blend into the whole picture. No ones on the field n even on the streets sometime. It gets dark frm 4. For Muslims, Zuhur prayer gets really short and no Isha'(or Was it Magrib?cudn't recall laa..) Extremities got numb like almost every time they're exposed. And the gloomy lil cloudy accompanied by mrs windy makes everybody moody. (it rhymes!)..n most importantly...we'll prone to snacking n hibernating with almost a 100% guarantee of weight gain!hahaha..

But...looking 4wd to the winter hols..Plan to go to Barcelona n Madrid..haven't booked the plane ticket though..but insyaAllah la..main attraction there is definitely la....Zara!haha..(wut,u think im gonna say real madrid n barcelona stadium???)if only beckham is still in real madrid..huhu
After that...gotta get my heads down fully geared for the exam! Terus seram sjuk pk psl exam..haha

K till then,wslm.

6 decades of catastrophe Nakba..do we care?

I went to Palestine Conference held in my uni just now. The talk was great with the astounding speakers like Dr Azim Tamimi and a local MP Ms Bronnes Jenny Tonge. My initial intention going for the talk was to gain more knowledge about the long lasting Palestine issue. Then i began to realize that it's no longer the time to just 'gain knowledge'..it's time for 'action'!Dnt get me wrong, the knowledge about what's really happening there in Palestine, Ghaza, Syrria, Jurusalem and all the other refugee camps around there are crucial to spark awareness.

One of the speakers, Dr Ghada Ageel..a Palestinian who grew up in a refugee camp in Ghaza. The story of her experience is really full of sorrow. The camp is very crowded, without proper clean water supply, and access to proper education. Her grandma now lives only 15mins from her own village in Palestine. Imagine, u can see ur homeland yet u're denied to be there and live there. But even from the very old generation of Palestinian, their hope to be back in their homeland is still high despite of how bad the current situation is. Quoting her dialog with her grandma (80++ yrs old)..:
SHE: You know how America controls the international law, do you? Then why still have high hopes of coming back?
GRANDMA: The one who'll make us return to Palestine is not America, not Israel, not the Jews or whatsoever
SHE: Then?
GRANDMA: But we will return. There'll definitely be an end to this. Last time, the turk in Europe..where are they now? Then the British Mandate, where are they now?So there must be an end to this as well i believe. If not now, tomorrow, or the day after, and if i don't have the chance, you will and if not, your children will..but i believe WE WILL RETURN.

That's how determined they are. It's been 60 yrs, and the Palestinian still hanging on there hoping and fighting with their very best ability for their rights to live, right to education, right to be buried in dignity etc.

Well, it's even stated in the Quran kan that God has promised us Muslims a winning. So, we're already at the winning side. It's just the matter of time and most importantly..how.

Felt so ashamed jst now. Coz at the conference, the British MP came as one of the panels. She actively involved in fighting for the rights for Palestine land. And there's this one lady from Leicester who have actively fought for this issue for over 30years!Imagine. They're not even Muslims..Yet they also understnd the urgent need of putting this racist discrimination into an end. Well that should be the case actually coz this issue is purely a secular colonial mind setting issue initiated by a Frenchman who wasn't even a Jew! (can learn more bout diz if follow the history behind it). But it's more to it for us since it's our Holy land. It's where our first Qiblat was i.e Al-Aqsa. So it makes sense dat we should care more bout it.

The British speaker mainly talked about "Why nothing's done about it" even though this massacre and invasion are totally against international law. Some points she made includes:
  1. Due to cultural sentiments.
  2. Holocaust. If the west fight against what Israel's doing to Palestine, then the the Jews will argue like "Why can't we do it when you already did it to us?"
  3. Invasion of Iraq. Again, the world will say, " Why America can invade Iraq and not Israel?" or something like that.
  4. The strong, mighty and totally legal Pro-Israel lobby. Strongest one is in America which is the America's Pro-Israel Lobby (AIPAC). they do enormous campaign for politician. And politician who goes against them will be dead meat. And in Britain, the Friends of Isreal (FOI) which is considered as the backbone of MP in Britain political world.
Then she moved into "What can WE do about it?"
She stressed the importance of writing letters to local MP, do appointments discussing what the politicians should do about it. (Well, no comment on my part but i do totally agree with her)

Then they're (someone frm FOSIS) planning to set a massive Palestine issue organization to vigorously do campaign, pressurize local MPs etc. So we joined and hope some good news will come out of it. However, in term of boycotting Israeli products, I don't knw how far it will get us to. Seeing the current economy situation, our daily life revolves around their products. So, kena byk tanye pendapat org2 pakar and up to our stand really jugak kot..dnt knw.

Of course for us who're so used to live in cozy lifestyle and being pampered all the time, it's hard to imagine and to put ourselves in their shoes. But try to, coz we have to.

u know why i write a blog??i hav always wanted to keep a diary..when i was 13/14 yrs old (tink so:P)..i kept this one lovely diary..coz i tink it's sweet to hav every single things jotted down so that when we're older (older..how old???)..we can simply flip through the so called diary to recall all the ups n downs we've been through..but the bad habit bout me is that..im QUITE lazy..in keeping n writing one..n im rather a secretive person u c..so kinda freak out if somebody finds out bout the diary...(never happened though)..so the diary lasted only for half a year..eyh i tink less than half a year!:(

so that's y i blog..but up to now,i just keep writing anonymously..told ya im secretive..so that i won't feel restricted to pour out anything "nasty"...(??)hehehe..n so nobody'll feel offended after reading my blog..coz i really treat this as my own personal diary...
